HVAC in Grey Forest
Vetter Air — trusted HVAC for Grey Forest homeowners.
Grey Forest started in the late 1920s as a camp and real-estate venture along Scenic Loop Road, seventeen miles out along the northwestern edge of San Antonio, and waited until 1962 to incorporate. It has stayed tiny — 492 residents on seven-tenths of a square mile — and its children attend Northside district schools in nearby Helotes.
Grey Forest sits on Scenic Loop Road about a mile east of State Highway 16, at roughly 1,140 feet in the hills of northwestern Bexar County, and uses ZIP code 78023. Its students attend Northside ISD schools.
The city also built its own natural gas system. Grey Forest Utilities was founded in 1967, when the city received a bond to construct it, and it now serves more than 18,000 customers in metropolitan San Antonio, including Helotes, Leon Valley, Fair Oaks Ranch, Alamo Ranch and the Dominion. Vetter Air's furnace repair covers ignition and pilot problems, thermostat troubleshooting, airflow issues and a safety check.
Grey Forest is one of the farther towns we serve: City Hall, at 18502 Scenic Loop Road, is about 41 miles by road from our shop at 605 San Augustine Blvd. in New Braunfels, roughly 55 minutes in light traffic. Vetter Air offers AC repair, maintenance and installation here as well. Call (830) 624-7079 and we will tell you how quickly we can reach you; emergency care is available 24/7.
